Throwback to Athens

18 Sep

One of Chris’s closest friends {Sexy Rexy} is getting married next month!  And you know what that means…. wedding showers!  Luckily for us, this one was in Athens, so we made a day of it.  Note: this was prior to the Canon 60D, so all the images are from my phone.

We did some walking around downtown Athens:

shout-out to Andrew, who worked at Utage for a couple of years during undergrad

killed some time and enjoyed some local brews

Playing it cool under the arch… Good thing I’m graduated!

Visiting our favorite Yoforia manager, Jay!

And then worked our way to the middle of University of Georgia’s campus – including Tate I (and newly renovated II) and the SLC.  Sadly, the SLC — where Chris and I first met — was closed.

Sad that the SLC was closed

But we turned around and had some fun:

The best part?  I played on these things with when the SLC first went up… 6 years ago.

DavidK and the little feet? NinaR. You’re welcome, NinaR.  Oh, and no Tate II in the background.

Chris and I had a lot of fun in Athens and we look forward to going again during the football season for some tailgating!  Best of all… I get to relive some of my favorite memories.

My favorite picture is the one with little Nina’s legs flailing.
